"After the Cain and Abel murder - committed in the second generation of our human history, the number of people on earth became larger and larger. In the 1000 years between 4000 and 3000 B.C., 10 generations followed each other. It is obvious that in spite of the disastrous results of the Fall, people in those days were still a lot stronger and healthier than we are today. The people grew to be hundreds of years old. As an example, Adam was 930 years old when he died in 3096 B.C.

The Bible tells us very little detail about the people who lived in those 1000 years. The Bible does see to it, though, that we get a very accurate and complete picture of the genealogical register which takes us from Adam to Christ. After the Bible has mentioned the year in which Adam was born and the year of the birth of Seth, it gives us perfectly accurate information on the name and the year of birth of each successive eldest son. As a result, we possess an accurate genealogical register. In the first instance, it takes us from Adam to the tenth generation: Noah.

Around 3000 dramatic events took place in heaven. About that time, Satan had obviously succeeded in finding fellow angels who were willing to follow him in his rebellious attitude towards JHWH. The Bible tells us how in those days a number of angels got interested in pretty women who lived on earth and eventually turned their evil thoughts into actions. Not satisfied with their life in heaven as God had prepared it for them, they left heaven, made male bodies for themselves, and married the earthly women who had aroused their attention and desire. God had never wanted these unnatural sexual relations between women and demons. This led to the birth of very bad children who made the already immoral and violent way of getting along of people in those days even worse.
